Security
Transmission of financial and payment information
is submitted on our secure server. To keep your information safe we employ
128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to prevent the interception of
critical information. If you prefer, you may e-mail your order, and we will
telephone you to verify your order and obtain your credit card details. For
security of your personal details, please do not send your credit card details
by e-mail. Your are transferred to a secure environment when you proceed to
checkout.
Freight, Postage and Handling charges are
as follows:
Within NSW by Registered Mail $8.90 inc. GST. This
amount is added to your order at Checkout. (see below***)
Elsewhere in Australia by Registered Mail $11.90 inc. GST.
This amount is added to your order at Checkout (see below***).
***If the actual postage cost
exceeds the above charges (for example on heavier items, large bulky items or multiple items in one order), we
may elect to charge you the actual postage cost charged at standard Australia
Post rates calculated at their cubic metric rate on the packed size/weight of the parcel/s to the delivery postcode.
As a guide, the basic postage quoted above generally covers a parcel
weight of up to 1kg plus the prepaid Registered Mail fee of $2.00 to most
destination postcodes, and
also reflects the increase in postage charges by Australia Post on 1 March 2007.
If you would like us to confirm your postage cost before processing your order,
please indicate your requirements in the Special Instructions section at
checkout.
If you require delivery by Express Post or by Courier, please
contact us on Freecall 1800 200 493 or 02 9484 9074. We will assist you and revise the delivery
charge in accordance with your requirements.
International Postage - a Nil amount for postage is added to your
order at Checkout. Your Order Confirmation will show Freight as $0.00.
A Nil amount is shown because the cost of
postage varies between different international zones and is calculated by
Australia Post on the packed weight of your parcel to the country of
destination. Your order will be processed and postage added at standard
Australia Post rates for Air Mail to your country calculated on the packed
weight of your parcel. Heavy items, such as stocking holders will
attract a higher charge for postage than lighter items, such as Australian
Christmas ornaments, tree decorations and other Christmas ornaments.
Please note that Australia Post have
discontinued delivery by Economy Air Mail, effective 4 September 2006. Please indicate in the Special Instructions box at Check Out
whether you require us to provide a quotation of the amount of postage that will
be charged on the packed weight of your parcel before we finalise processing of
your order. If we do not receive a request for a quotation of shipping
and postage costs, we will automatically process your order and add postage at
standard Australia Post rates for Air Mail to the country of destination.
Please note we do not charge a handling fee, and the shipping cost represents a
reimbursement of the actual postage charged by Australia Post for Air Mail
calculated on the weight of your parcel.
Payment Options
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American
Express with secured payment, also payment by
Cheque (Check), Money Order or Direct Deposit (within Australia only). We do not charge
your account until we ship to you, except for an order for Personalised Balls.
Payment for an order of Personalised Balls is processed before commencing the
calligraphy of your personalised message.
COD, Money Order and Direct Deposit are not available for international orders.
Money Orders within Australia - on receipt of your order, stock will be
allocated to fulfil your order. We will email you the Invoice including the amount of
postage payable on your order, and the total amount to be sent to
Everything Christmas Pty. Ltd. at PO Box 108, Thornleigh NSW 2120. Should
you have any questions regarding this procedure, please call our Freecall 1800
200 493 or 02 9484 9074 and we will assist you. Stock allocated for your order will be held for
seven (7) days from the date of receipt of the order. In the event that we do
not receive your payment within seven (7) days, we will re-allocate the stock
held for your order. Payment for an order of Personalised Balls must be
received before we can commence the calligraphy of your personalised message.
Direct Deposit - on receipt of your order, stock will be allocated to
fulfil your order. We will email you the Invoice including the amount of postage payable
on your order, and to advise you of our Bank Account details. Funds can be
direct deposited to our account at your Bank Branch, or you may transfer funds
to our account by electronic funds transfer. Please use either your surname or
your order number as a reference on the funds transfer. Please send an email to
us via the 'Contact Us" button on the top tool bar of the Home Page to confirm
funds have been deposited to the account, or call Freecall 1800 200 493 to
confirm payment. Alternatively, you may fax a copy of your funds transfer
receipt or deposit slip together with a copy of your order to 02 9418 4718.

held for your order. Your order will be shipped to you upon clearance of your
cheque by our Bank. Please allow 5 to 7 working days for clearance of your
cheque. In the event that our Bank advises that funds have not
cleared, we will advise you and invoice you for any bank fees or charges
incurred by us as a result of your cheque not having been presented.
Payment for an order of Personalised Balls must be received before we can

COD - unfortunately due to an increased occurrence of fraudulent
COD orders, we have suspended our COD service at this

9074) and we will assist you.
Insurance
Insuring Orders within Australia - Delivery by Registered Mail within
Australia, automatically gives you insurance cover of up to $100 in
value. On orders greater in value of $100, you may choose to
take additional insurance on your goods. The rate, payable to Australia
Post, is $1.05 per $100, or part thereof in excess of $100 and
up to $5000. Please note that the risk of damage/loss passes
to you upon our delivery of your parcel to Australia Post.
If you wish us to arrange additional insurance to the value of your order,
please advise us in the "Special Instructions" section when completing your
purchase at Checkout in the Shopping Cart, or reply to our order confirmation
e-mail.
Insuring International Orders - the availability of insurance
and the maximum obtainable cover varies between countries. Where available the
international insurance fee payable to Australia post is $5.00 plus
$2.00 per $100 value, or part thereof up to $5,000. Please note
that the risk of damage/loss passes to you upon our delivery of your
parcel to Australia Post. If you wish us to arrange insurance to the
value of your order, please advise us in the "Special Instructions" section when
completing your purchase at Checkout in the Shopping Cart, or reply to our order
confirmation e-mail. We will advise you whether insurance cover is available to
the country of destination and confirm the amount payable.
Delivery Lead Time - We use Australia Post to ship your order
by Registered Mail with receipted delivery for orders within Australia. International orders are shipped by
Air Mail to the country of destination. Airmail
transit time is approximately 3 - 5 working days between metropolitan areas and
capital cities, and approximately 5 - 10 working days to country areas or
overseas. Please note that Airmail is not an express delivery service, and the
transit time is the expected length of time for your parcel to arrive after
dispatch. Airmail arrives as quickly as the local service will allow. If you
would prefer a faster delivery time, please advise us in the "Special
Instructions" section when completing your purchase at Checkout in the Shopping
Cart, or reply to our order confirmation e-mail. We will then contact you by
telephone or e-mail to confirm the extra charges associated with express
delivery.
Whilst we do our best to maintain our stock levels to meet our delivery
timetable, Everything Christmas heirloom pieces or accessories may be made on
receipt of order, and shipping time can change if materials are not readily
available. In this event we will notify you of the expected dispatch time.
The charge to your credit card is not processed until the order is ready
for dispatch to you.
Due to the demands placed on deliveries
approaching the festive season, and to ensure no disappointment in availability
of stock, we suggest that orders be placed well in advance. The advantage in
shopping with Everything Christmas is that you have time to plan and shop for
your special Christmas theme or gifts throughout the year, with no last minute
rush as Christmas approaches.
Tax Charges
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is payable on orders
within Australia, and is calculated on the subtotal of your order at the time of
Checkout in the Shopping Cart. International customers are solely responsible
for any import duty, import taxes or other charges which may apply within the
country of destination.
Product Warranty
Everything Christmas Pty.
Ltd. Limited Edition heirloom pieces and accessories are crafted by hand in
Australia, both woodworking and art work. There may be slight variations in
ornamentation and dimensions, as well as minor variations in finishes and art
work, since it is applied by hand on various species of hand turned and hand
crafted wood. For lasting durability, all Limited Edition painted pieces are
finished with three coats of polyurethane acrylic varnish. Prices are subject to
change without notice.
Exchange or Return Policy
We take great pride in ensuring our customers' satisfaction by offering high
quality products. In the event that you are not satisfied, we will make every
attempt to resolve your issues on a timely basis. Please e-mail or contact us as
below with all the relevant details. Our Exchange or Return Policy applies to
all returns made within 14 days of invoice date in original shipping condition.
Simply return the item within 14 days of the invoice date in its original
shipping condition for a full refund less the handling and postage charge.
Alternatively, you may exchange a returned item for another item. Any difference
in price between the returned item and the exchanged item will be refunded or
charged to you as the case may be. Please send a return by registered insured
parcel post, as we do not accept liability for any goods lost in transit. Upon
receipt, a return will be processed within 10 working days. A refund will be
disbursed in the manner in which original payment was received.

Our site will try and detect your local currency
and display your local currency price with the price that we sell in (Australian
Dollars). If it is not the currency that you would like to compare with, just
click on the price displayed to open a window which will allow you to select the
currency that you would like displayed. The price displayed in your local
currency is an estimated price, however in practice it should be no more than
1%, different than the approximate price that is shown.
Unsolicited E-mail
We maintain a mailing list which customers are
added to for notification of new product releases, promotions and specials of
Everything Christmas. Unless otherwise requested, we will add you to our mailing
list, however, if you feel that we have included you on a list inappropriately,
please send an e-mail to us by using the feedback form above or responding to
any email from us, requesting removal. Everything Christmas does not condone or
participate in sending unsolicited e-mail.
Privacy
Your privacy is an important issue to us. If you
fill out an order form we will only use that information to send you the items
or information you requested. To ensure that your privacy is protected, we will
not sell or distribute your personal information to any third party, and will
only use your information for the purposes implied by each form on this website.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with
our internal security policy and the law. You can check the information that we
hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or
correct it promptly.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our
site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.
You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information
collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser
settings.
